B.SC (N) ADMISSION CRITERIA:


AGE LIMIT FOR ADMISSION : Only female candidates are eligible to apply. The candidate should complete the age of 17 years at the time of admission or should complete the said age on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the 1 St year of the course.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : The Candidate should have passed +2 or equivalent qualifying examination with science subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, with an aggregate of 45% marks. 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATE : Candidates who have passed any qualifying examination other than the higher secondary examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu, should produce an eligibility certificate from the TamilNadu. Dr. M.G.R.Medical University before seeking admission.

COMMENCEMENT & DURATION OF THE COURSE : The B.Sc. (N) course commence on 1st August. The duration of the study shall extend over a period of four academic years.

PAYMENT OF FEE : The candidates are expected to pay the fees at the time of commencement of the course in onetime payment. The fees for the second year, third year and fourth year have to be paid as onetime payment on the reopening day respectively. The delay in fee remittance will attract fine. The fees once paid shall not be returned under any circumstances.

COLLEGE WORKING HOURS : The college functions full day from Monday to Saturdays and the working hours are from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m on all working days. Second Saturday of every month is holiday. Clinical Posting varies within 24 hours.

ATTENDANCE : A candidate is required to secure a minimum of 100% of attendance in both theory and practical separately in each subject before appearing for the examination.

UNIFORM : The students are required to wear the prescribed uniform during their clinical experience and for the classes.

DISCONTINUATION : Candidates who want to discontinue will be subjected to abide with the rules of the College. The need to pay the fees prescribed for the whole course period,
